On Friday August 16, the Airline Dispatcher Federation, held a special meeting of the Board of Directors.
Effectively immediately, the following organizational changes have been made:
Ryan Makings (Executive Vice President) was appointed as President, and will serve the role until end of term, December 31, 2025.
Valorie Cook (Secretary) was appointed as Executive Vice President, and will serve the role until end of term, December 31, 2024.
Eddie Barnes was appointed as Secretary, and will serve that role until end of term, December 31, 2024.
Nominations for the election for Executive Vice President and Secretary for the term of 2025-2027 are open and the election will take place at our next Fall Business meeting in October in Orlando, Florida.

The Airline Dispatchers Federation represents the professional interests of the dispatch profession. ADF's constituency is comprised of licensed aircraft dispatchers and operational control professionals from aerospace companies, regional and cargo carriers and every major U.S. airline. ADF's membership as of January 2024 stood at 2,734 members. The vast majority of airline passengers traveling each day in the United States, do so under the watchful eye of ADF members.
The ADF is an all-volunteer organization (all working dispatchers) and in accordance with our bylaws is an advocacy organization for working dispatchers and not a labor organization.
